announces a special two day Love and Logic® class in North
Bend WA. "Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!®" for birth to
age six. The class is co-facilitated by Marlon Familton,
marriage therapist at Collaborative Couples and Family
Counseling, LLC in Bellevue WA.
This special class will be presented at Mountain View Montessori School in North Bend WA over two Saturdays: April 17th and May 1st, 2010 from 9:00am to 1:30pm. Cost for both Saturdays is $75 for an individual and $130 for a couple.
Parents who struggle with misbehavior often fall back to what they learned: lecturing, threatening or being pulled in to arguments with their little ones. Unfortunately it rarely works. Love and Logic® is a parenting approach created in 1977 to help parents learn how to set limits in loving ways using logical consequences. Ms. Koenig will cover:
-Handling misbehavior without breaking a sweat
-Teaching kids to listen the first time
-Avoiding power struggles
-Limits for happier parents and happier kids
-What to do when your kids leave you speechless
