Bellevue, WA, October 27, 2009 -- Leah Koenig, MA, Child & Family therapist and Parent Coach at Collaborative Couples and Family Counseling, LLC in Bellevue WA is presenting the five week Love and Logic® class, "Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!®" for birth to age six, at Sammamish Montessori School in Redmond WA starting November 5, 2009. Classes will be each Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm and cost $75 for an individual and $130 for a couple.

Often parents find that lecturing, arguing or threatening their kids does not work and in fact, only make dynamics at home worse. Love and Logic® is a parenting approach, started in 1977, that helps parents learn to set limits with their children in loving ways and thus creates happy families and responsible kids. Ms. Koenig will cover:

-Handling misbehavior without breaking a sweat
-Teaching kids to listen the first time
-Avoiding power struggles
-Limits for happier parents and happier kids
-What to do when your kids leave you speechless
